From a sketch… to steel and cement… to stone, wood, light, and air. ‌ This floating white oak staircase was custom-built by a husband & wife team whose work blends precision with soul, and designed to feel like it’s hovering in front of a 20-foot stacked stone wall. ‌ Add light under every tread and a glass balcony stretching 30 feet across—and suddenly the whole house breathes differently. ‌ This is what happens when thoughtful design meets serious craftsmanship. ‌ This home is designed and built with intention by Dana Pearsall and the Pear Design Build team. At the center, a Jacaranda tree will be enclosed by a custom louvered wall, allowing southwest light and natural airflow to filter through while maintaining architectural intention. The finished space will feature an interior deck for modern simplicity, orchids woven into the lower branches, and subtle uplighting to create a dramatic, living focal point—offering a striking view from the dining room and beyond.
